Christmas Decorating Yo Sho Fo Yo

I finna be putting up my Christmas lights soon yo…Nothing says warmth and welcome like the soft glow of candles. Creating an elegant Christmas candle centerpiece for your dining room table is simple and easy, and can accommodate any size table. The length of your table will be the deciding factor in which style of candle centerpiece you create; the centerpiece should add depth to the vignette you are trying to create, to small and it will become lost among the serving dishes and too large and it will overcome the place settings. Here are a few tips to create the perfect Christmas candle centerpiece.
Long Dining Room Table Centerpiece
For those who have the advantage of a long dining room table, creating a candle lit snow village will provide a dramatic flair to any dining experience. Using a Christmas candle centerpiece that encompasses a snow village will also allow you to show off your artistic abilities. Place a snowy white tablecloth on the table, cover with a lacy overlay with a small snowflake motif. Using long taper candles, arrange them around the snow village in the center of the table. Use cake risers to elevate the buildings, and use fake snow crystals and miniature nature elements to fill out the scene. Place the taper candles around the village to cast light upon the snow and even use miniature tea lights to light suitable buildings and homes from within.
Round Dining Room Table
Place gold tablecloth on the table and use pillar candles of varying height to encircle a crystal bowl filled with jewel toned red and green glass ornaments. This Christmas candle centerpiece will glow with life as the ornaments and the glass reflect the light of the pillar candles, and cast colorful glows over the gold of the tablecloth.
You can also use floating candles in crystal cut glass bowl, and place the ornaments around the bowl, nestled in boughs of evergreens, and holly to mimic the colors of the ornaments. Place red and green tapers on each side of the bowl for a more elongated appearance and add length to the centerpiece.
Any combination of candles, crystal, evergreens, and ornaments will be beautiful and elegant.
